A Band 5 Occupational Therapist is sought to join the Child and Adolescent Health Service to work with children and young people aged 0-18 years with a learning disability, in an outpatient setting providing an occupation focused approach to assessment and intervention.
The OT and AHP team has a good skill mix offering a broad range of skills, knowledge and experience.
You will help us to provide a quality and safe service to patients referred for occupational therapy assessment and treatment from across the NHS Grampian area. There will be an opportunity to contribute to group work and service improvement.
You will require to be HCPC registered or, in the case of new graduates, initially work as a band 4 HCSW until registration is confirmed. You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills. We are looking for someone who is highly motivated and enjoys being part of an enthusiastic team.
Training and support for your professional development will be provided and we are committed to regular supervision to support good practice.
Please note that there will be a requirement to travel as part of this post so the ability to travel in the geographical area is essential for this post.
