An opportunity has arisen for a full-time permanent post as Geographical Lead Nurse, Infection Prevention & Control Service within the Royal Infirmary, Little France campus and supports both NHS Lothian acute and community hospital settings within the region.
Providing clinical expertise and working jointly within a multi disciplinary team the post holder will play a key role in delivering an infection prevention & control service aimed at supporting patient safety through the reduction in healthcare associated infection.
The post holder will provide line management in accordance with relevant employment policies for Infection control nurses within the South and East Lothian team and may at times be required to deputise for the Lead Nurse.
Applications are invited from 1st level Registered Nurse with a post graduate qualification in Infection Prevention & Control. You will have significant infection control experience with a portfolio of evidence demonstrating knowledge in specialised field.
