Applications are invited for the post of EMIS/Receptionist/admin assistant within the Admin Department, based at Biggart Hospital, Biggart, South Ayrshire Health and Social Care Partnership.  

Flexible and enthusiastic, you will provide a comprehensive clerical service for the District Nurse South teams and a variety of administrative functions.  Excellent communication skills and inter-personal skills are essential, as is the ability to work on your own initiative as well as part of a team. 

Your primary duties will mainly include transcribing and populating referrals and tasks on EMIS, live calls with colleagues, relatives and patients forwarding as appropriate, undertaking all reception/admin duties as per department service needs.   

You should have relevant IT qualifications (ECDL) experience, keyboard skills and previous NHS experience is desirable for this post.  

Knowledge of TRAKCARE and EMIS are also desirable, although full training will be provided. 

Working hours are 37.5 hours per week over five days, Monday to Friday 0830 – 1630.
