We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior charge nurse to join our team at University Hospital Monklands
The post holder will be a clinical lead for nursing/midwifery services, within area of responsibility and as required across NHS Lanarkshire and will be an expert practitioner providing professional leadership, support and advice within the multi-disciplinary team across NHS Lanarkshire and lead the development and implementation of a programme of clinical audit and research activity within the context of clinical governance and be responsible for auditing, evaluating, implementing and monitoring clinical standards, and give advice, support, and contribute to the education of staff, as appropriate, within area of responsibility and carry out all relevant forms of nursing/midwifery care. Demonstrate procedures to and supervise registered and/or unregistered staff, as well as student nurses.
