NHS Tayside CAMHS has a long history of employing and valuing systemic family therapy. We are delighted to offer this opportunity for an individual to work within our outpatient CAMHS Service. This post will be based in Dundee with input offered to the outpatient teams covering Dundee and Angus. We are specifically looking for candidates experienced in the treatment of eating disorders but there is opportunity to be involved in the range of services offered and to develop areas of expertise within an expanding and innovative service.
The Psychological Therapies team in CAMHS comprises approx 30 members of staff, over two sites, including Clinical Psychologists, Clinical Associates, CBT Psychotherapists and Systemic Family Therapists. This post will be managed and supervised through the Psychological Therapies Service and based in the Centre for Child Health, Dundee. This represents an excellent opportunity to join an established and supportive team with good links within both CAMHS and the wider NHS Tayside Psychological Therapies Service.
In addition to direct clinical work this post will linked closely to the multidisciplinary team and partner agencies to support and enhance the professional psychological care of clients within the service. There are opportunities to facilitate and receive individual, group and live supervision within family therapy and across disciplines. There will be regular opportunities for supervision and future opportunities to pursue further training or involvement with clinically relevant research and training initiatives.
