Scotland’s first modern hospice, St Columba’s Hospice first opened its doors in 1977. Over the years it has grown and evolved into an exemplary provider of specialist palliative care for thousands of people with life-limiting illnesses in Edinburgh and the Lothians annually, while also providing support to their relatives and loved ones. We currently have the following opportunity to join the Hospice:
Administrator
Hospice Band 4 – Starting salary £25,591 WTE (following 12 month review, salary may rise to £26,761 WTE per annum subject to satisfactory performance) pro-rata per annum + unsocial hours enhancement + Pension
Part Time – 22.5 hours

We are looking for a highly motivated individual to provide part-time administrative, IT and secretarial support to our Education Team, Research Team and Arts Team located at the People, Knowledge and Cultural development team Building.
You’ll need an appreciation and understanding of working in a busy office environment and will be responsible for implementing and maintaining well-organised administrative systems. You’ll possess excellent communication skills, be a great team player, have excellent interpersonal skills, and be able to work under pressure.
You will have a relevant qualification and previous experience as an administrator, ideally in a higher education/ health care/ project management environment.
