An exciting and unique opportunity has arisen for a Band 7 Advanced Speech and Language Therapist (up to 0.8 WTE) with a wide range of paediatric clinical experience to join our team of Speech and Language Therapists (SLTs) and Clinical Support Workers based within the Inverclyde HSCP. 
Due to local and national developments we are looking for the ideal person to provide clinical leadership and direction in setting up and evaluating an excellent collaborative model with our partners in Education. The postholder would work closely with the SLT and Education management teams to provide advice and clinical expertise around service model prioritisation and decision making. Within the SLT team they would be key to driving clinical practice development in relation to evidence base and outcomes. 

The successful candidate will have specific experience of working within Education settings providing SLCN support at universal and targeted levels as well as on an individual basis. They will be experienced in delivering training using different formats, and to a range of people whilst have the skills to reflect, adapt and develop initiatives depending on need. 

Clinical supervision, caseload/workload management and team lead support are provided. Internal and external CPD opportunities are available for staff to develop their knowledge, skills and experience. It is essential that you have a Degree in Speech and Language Therapy and have current registration with the HCPC. This post requires membership of Disclosure Scotland's PVG Scheme.
The hours are worked 8:30 – 4:30 or 9-5  4 days per week - negotiable
