The shift pattern for this post is Monday- Friday
The post holder will work within a multi-disciplinary team to provide individual vocational guidance, goal setting and personal social development to a wide range of Glasgow City HSCP clients who suffer from severe and enduring mental illness.
Promote social inclusion, lifelong learning and employment as possible vehicles to recovery from these illnesses.
Work within a wider community remit referring to and accessing community supports from various internal and external partners.
Support mental health service users to take up training, education, vocational and employment opportunities and move closer to the labour market and paid employment.
To work collaboratively with a wide range of statutory and voluntary organisations to promote, encourage and facilitate health & wellbeing and recovery for service users.
Develop individual training plans to reduce barriers and create opportunities to allow service users to achieve their recovery goals.
