The shift pattern for this post is Mon-Fri ​​​​​​​

We have a vacancy for 2 x Band 6 Therapy Radiographer within the Lanarkshire Beatson Radiotherapy Facility; these posts are full-time, 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday for one permanaent position and one, fixed term of 12 months.

The Radiotherapy facility in Lanarkshire is a Satellite unit linked to The Beatson Cancer Centre in Glasgow, we are located within the grounds of Monklands Hospital in Airdrie, North Lanarkshire.

The facility has two True Beam linear accelerators and one Phillips CT with Advantage Windows Virtual Simulation system.

The post-holder will work as part of a small team on a linear accelerator, CT or Pre-Treatment area where they will ensure a highly specialised clinical service is provided to patients.

He/she will carry out all routine imaging as per scope of practice and will be responsible for his/her own development and life-long learning.

He/she will supervise students, advising on Imaging, training and development in line with HEI requirements.

The responsibilities of this post are described in the attached Job Description and minimum qualifications are as follows:

  • DCR(T) or BSc in Therapy Radiography (or equivalent)

State Registration with HCPC as  a Therapy Radiographer
