The Eating Disorder Advanced Intervention Team is a community based tertiary service. As part of NHS Fife’s pathway for adults with eating disorders we work closely with a variety of teams and services in Fife and with the Regional Eating Disorder Unit at St John’s Hospital in Livingston.

We are currently expanding our team and are excited to be offering this post for the first time within EDAIT. You will work closely with our Team Lead, Band 6 Mental Health Nurse, Dietitian, Psychologist and assistants to deliver a safe, evidence based service. You will manage a complex caseload with support from senior clinicians, providing interventions to manage both physical and psychological risk associated with eating disorders.

Applications are invited from Registered Mental Health Nurses (RMN) with an interest in eating disorders and a sound knowledge of general mental health. You will have experience of team working, problem solving, excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with a range of people in your day to day work. 

You will receive a comprehensive induction as well as ongoing training, supervision and support to develop and progress in the specialty.

This is a full time post but we will consider applications for part-time working
