This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced registered nurse to work as an integral member of the Respiratory Specialist Team for a fixed term of 1 year. The post has been funded by the Scottish Government Unscheduled Care Programme to support development within the service and will primarily be focussing on the Sleep Service.
The post holder will work in collaboration and under the supervision of the Senior Specialist Respiratory nurse. They will be responsible for providing information, support and specialist nursing interventions to maximise the quality of life of patients who have Chronic Respiratory conditions and Obstructive Sleep Apnoea Syndrome. They will be responsible for providing information, support and specialist nursing interventions to maximise the quality of life of patients who have Obstructive Sleep Apnoea Syndrome therapies. This is a rotational post and the postholder will be required to work across Perth Royal Infirmary & Ninewells Hospital.
The postholder will have a workload that includes outpatient clinics, inpatient in reach and community reviews depending on the demands of the service.
You should be a First Level Registered Nurse with evidence of continuing professional development. Extensive post registration experience is required, training for this post will be provided. You will be involved in collaborative working, therefore, strong leadership, interpersonal and communication skills are essential.
You must be registered on Sub-part 1: RN1 or RNA or Sub-part 2: RN2 of the UK NMC Register

Hours of work are: 37.5hrs per week - part time can be considered.
Fixed Term for 12 months
