An exciting opportunity has arisen within NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde’s Alcohol and Drug Recovery Services for an inpatient Staff Nurse post. The position will initially be based within the Kershaw Unit, Gartnavel Royal Hospital initially.
The post holder will have responsibility for the assessment of care needs, evaluation of programmes of care, and ensuring the delivery of high quality care to all patients
within the unit.
- Awareness of professional and clinical accountability is essential.
- Applicants should be a first level Registered Mental Health Nurse with experience working with individuals with an alcohol and/or drug dependence.
- All applicants should be able to evidence their continuing professional development with an emphasis on alcohol or drug related intervention(s) and should be able to clearly demonstrate excellent communication and organisational skills with the ability to fulfill the main duties and responsibilities as outlined within the job description.
