A rare opportunity has arisen for a Band 5 Community Mental health Nurse.  We are a well established team providing treatment for adults aged 18 years and above, who experience a range of organic and or functioning mental health conditions.  You will be expected to deliver treatment which is evidenced based in a safe, effective and person centred way. You will also be expected to manage a caseload and be involved in quality improvement projects. 

Continuous Professional Development (CPD) is key to a well functioning, supportive, motivated and dynamic team.  We offer CPD throughout the year which you will be encouraged to participate in, there is also scope for you to be involved in any special interests in mental health you may have.  You will be offered regular clinical and managerial supervision and may be required to provide supervision for junior staff members.  If you are highly motivated, organised, person centred and enjoy working as part of a team we would welcome your application.  The post is based at Garden Hill Primary Care Centre in Castle Douglas and covers the Stewartry locality.
