We currently have a vacancy for a 25hpw post which could be rostered over 2 shifts per week.
We are a small recently refurbished unit of 14 beds 7 of which are Care of the Elderly incorporating Palliative Care with the remaining 7 beds being Rehabilitation. We work alongside our onsite teams of Allied Healthcare Professionals, OT’s, Physios, and Speech and Language, with regular input from our Social Work Partners.
We are a friendly motivated team that takes pride in providing the best care possible for our patients, we like to forward plan and we are progressing well with our ongoing development enhancing our clinical skills to their full capacity meeting the more complex needs of the service users.
As a Registered Nurse you will be responsible for assisting with GP ward rounds, Assessing, Planning, Implementing and Evaluating the delivery of safe, quality, person centred care to patients within the hospital, working closely with members of the Multi Disciplinary Team, hosting the weekly Multi Disciplinary Team Meeting and Daily Dynamic Discharge Meetings, you will be involved in Discharge Planning Meetings and Goal Setting Meetings as required.
This post will include rotational shift pattern of Night Shifts, Day Shifts and Weekends.
This post will require PVG clearance
