An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Glasgow Community Stroke Team for an experienced Technical Instructor to provide ongoing rehabilitation for patients at home.  Whilst the Glasgow Community Stroke Team main office is located in the North East Sector Offices within the grounds of Stobhill Hospital, the post holder will be an agile worker covering the Greater Glasgow catchment area.  The team facilitates timely discharge from hospital for patients following a stroke, and provides continued rehabilitation across the stroke recovery pathway at home.  The ideal candidate will be an experienced, motivated and enthusiastic AHP HCSW who has experience of working within a rehabilitation setting.  The post holder will carry out specific tasks delegated to support AHP and Nursing staff in providing this service.  Patient documentation and multi-disciplinary communication within the team is also a requirement of the role.  Regular supervision and support will be offered as well as training opportunities as required.  The hours are worked Tuesday-Friday
