This post requires the post holder to have a PVG Scheme membership/ record. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a secretary to join the Dietetic GI Community Team.  Part time applications /job share will be considered.

The main duties of the role include

  • First point of contact for all enquiries to the service via telephone/email or paper.
  • Management of clerical and administrative processes to support clinical care which includes the use of electronic patient records and outpatient appointment system TRAK.
  • Ordering of supplies from PECOS procurement system.
  • Support allocation of appointments and deal with telephone enquiries from patients, GPs and other health care professionals.

Please note the dietetic team is based at Leith Community Treatment Centre. However, the dietetic secretary post is currently based at the Western General Hospital within the administration hub. A hybrid model of working will be considered to include some working from home. This will be discussed with the successful candidate.
