As a Staff Nurse you will join the team within the Emergency department at University Hospital Ayr. You will be a registered nurse with current NMC registration, previous emergency nurse experience is desirable. Evidence of team working skills with the ability to work using own initiative.
Effective listening and interpersonal skills and time management skills.
To undertake this role you must to be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills with nursing colleagues and members of the multi-disciplinary team. You will be instrumental in ensuring a continuum of service delivery by responding to the many challenges presented on a daily basis to maintain a safe, effective, person centred care.
Various hours available - Full and Part Time (working a shift pattern of days and nights rotation over 7 days).
1 permanent post and 4 fixed term posts (6 months from taking up post) available.
