SENIOR HEALTH CARE SUPPORT WORKERS – BAND 3

Full Time / Permanent

Salary Scale £21,709 - £23,603 per annum

An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Elective Orthopaedic Unit for Healthcare Support Workers (HCSW). The ward caters for patients having various Orthopaedic procedures including hip/knee replacements and some minor trauma patients.

We are looking for enthusiastic, self-motivated individuals to join our small friendly team. The job will involve working closely with the multidisciplinary team. You will need to be able to work as part of a team but also have the ability to work on your own. Good communication, organisational and motivational skills are required. We strive to provide a high quality of care and promote patient independence/active participation in their recovery.

Shift patterns include both day and night shifts and covers 7 days a week.

Experience of working in a caring environment is desirable. Training opportunities will be provided.
