An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Dental Health Care Support Worker to join the Prosthodontic Laboratory within Glasgow Dental Hospital.  The post holder is responsible for the provision of model construction and general back-up duties to the dental laboratory team of the Glasgow Dental Hospital and School.  The post holder will carry out construction of study models for clinical diagnosis,  primary models for initial technical stages and master models for definitive working models.  The role also involves construction of simple technical stages as directed by registered dental technicians and measuring and mixing of chemicals relating to dental technology i.e. anti-expansion liquid.  The post holder will assist the Registered Dental Technician and where appropriate other members of the clinical team to deliver patient care; share responsibility for key aspects of housekeeping and stock control; demonstrate a good awareness of cost efficiency; participate in personal career development plan to develop and maintain skills and personal growth through training and education.


 (Please note the salary is Pro Rata) for part time hours.
