We are looking for a proactive, enthusiastic and motivated individual to lead our Child Health  (Health Visiting and School Nursing) Team.  

The role will provide leadership and management of both teams to deliver high quality and proactive services and have clinical responsibility for a School Nursing Caseload.  The clinical caseload will predominantly be based in Lochgilphead .

The Scottish Universal Health Visiting Pathway and the School Nursing Pathways are at the heart of our service delivery and lay out the core visits and services that all Children and Young People in Scotland will receive.  

As the Child Health Team Lead, you will utilise the GIRFEC principles and approach in your daily work to promote the health and well being of Children, Young People and their Families.

You will work closely and in collaboration with the team leaders and child health managers and partner agencies to provide accessible, flexible, high quality, strengths based and effective services. 

You will need to have good communication and organisational skills coupled with the ability to work as an autonomous practitioner as well as within a team setting.

Applicants must be a first level registered nurse and have a post graduate Specialist Community Public Health Nursing qualification.
