​​​​​​​Community First Responders (CFRs) are volunteers who have been trained by the Scottish Ambulance Service to attend specific medical emergencies and deliver basic life support, oxygen therapy and defibrillation using an AED. The Service utilises CFRs to compliment core ambulance resources.

The role of the Community Resilience Facilitator is to assist in the development and support of Scottish Ambulance Service Community First Responder (CFR) schemes through the delivery of quality core training, and the provision of guidance and support to CFR volunteers in the North Region. The Community Resilience Facilitator also contributes to the planning, and provides organisational support to, the delivery of the Service’s National Community Resilience agenda.

The successful candidate will hold a training qualification or have equivalent relevant experience. 

This is a full time position working 37.5 hours Monday to Friday, with weekend and evening working as required. The post will cover Tayside, Perth and central Highlands.
