An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Nutritional Support Nurse to join the Clinical Nutrition Service.
The Service provides nutritional care and support for enteral and parenteral patients throughout NHS Grampian, Orkney, and the Shetland islands.
The successful applicant will work collaboratively with healthcare professionals across acute and community settings, to provide direct clinical care, education, support and advice to patients, carers, and other multidisciplinary professional/agencies.
The post includes participation in clinical rounds, outpatient clinics, MDT consultations and development of services, clinical standards and policies. Full training, supervision and support will be provided.
We are looking for a highly motivated Registered Nurse with significant post registration experience, who has excellent organisational, communication, and IT skills, and can demonstrate an ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team.
Predominantly the service operates Monday to Friday 0800-1600, but may require flexibility out with these times, to meet the requirements of the service. The post holder may also be required to travel across sites within NHS Grampian.
