The Pharmacovigilance Manager is an integral part of the senior operational group within the CTU. This lead post is key in supporting academic drug research for cancer treatment nationally and internationally. The maintenance of the safety reporting information systems and the information and conclusions of repors developed and presented by the Pharmacovigilance Manager will affect future treatments offered to cancer patients in the UK. You will provide administrative support for the in-house clinical trials coordinated by the CRUK Clinical Trials Unit (CTU). You will provide general administrative suport to the CTU Director, Operations Director and Head of Biostatistics. You will provide administrative support for the CTU meetings (IHTAB, IHTMM, IHTCM, MHRA Task Force, Sponsor Meetings, UTSC). You should have advanced theoretical and practical knowledge of research methodology gained from substantial experience. You should have a first Degree or equivalent experience combined with specialist training. Substantial experience in clinical research with some of it being within the oncology setting would be essential. The shift pattern for this post is Monday - Thursday 8.30am - 5.00pm, Friday 8.30am - 4.30pm.
