GP Advisor (Teledermatology & Referral Adviser) in Dermatology Reference: CG2528

Applications are welcome for the above Fixed Term, part time (4 hours per week) post based in Lauriston building.
Applications are invited for a Primary Care Teledermatology and referral adviser to join the clinical Dermatology team for 6 months in order to provide strategic and logistical advice for the advancement of teledermatology within NHS Lothian, to work with the Outpatient Redesign team to support the improvement of referral pathways and to act as the clinical interface between community and hospital based services, assisting in the process of informing local clinicians and relevant administrative staff of new developments.
This post can commence as soon as the candidate is available.
The Dermatology service has 19 Consultants, 4 Specialty Doctors/Hospital Practitioners and 6.4 Specialty Trainees/Clinical Fellows.
Applicants must have full GMC registration with licence to practise and inclusion on the General Practice register and currently be employed in Primary Care in NHS Lothian.
