Hotel Services Supervisor
Home Farm Nursing Home, Portree
37.5 hours per week, permanent
Salary Scale: Band 3 £21,709 - £23,603 pro rata per annum

This is an exciting opportunity to join the NHS Highland Hotel Services team working within Home Farm Nursing Home in Portree. The post holder will assist the Nursing & Care Home Manager/Deputy Manager/Hotel Services Support Manager in the support and delivery of resident/patient care.
The post holder will lead, supervise and organise Hotel Services staff in order to deliver comprehensive services within the home as well as work directly on the floor. This role involves providing Hotel Services within the care home, including catering, domestic and laundry services to the highest possible standard, ensuring a safe and quality environment for residents.
The post holder will be responsible for ensuring high standards of cleanliness in line with infection control policies and procedures, meeting specified cleaning schedules, and will work within available resources while ensuring compliance with the NHS Scotland National Cleaning Services Specification, Food, Fluid and Nutritional Care Standards & Waste Regulations.
This post is based in Home Farm, however, the successful applicants may on occasion be required to cover other NHS sites in the area. A fleet vehicle would be made available if required and therefore a clean driving licence would be necessary.
