The shift pattern for this post is worked over 3 days and will include one evening until 8pm.

You are required to hold, at least, a Post Graduate Diploma (or equivalent) in Counselling from an accredited establishment and to have relevant post-qualifying experience of at least 2 years. (or equivalent in practice hours)

You will have expert knowledge of therapeutic interventions, relevant to working with trauma-related client presentations; you will work autonomously to provide individual assessment and time limited counselling.

You will work mainly with SCASS's Choices service, which provides 1 to 1 counselling for gay and bisexual men who have sex with men (GBMSM). You will also work within SCASS's other areas of counselling for adults and your people eg. Childhood Sexual Abuse, Archway (Sexual Assault), Gender Identity and Young People. 

You will manage a caseload of clients who present with a range of sensitive issues of moderate to severe complexity related to their sexual health and psychological wellbeing.
