An opportunity has arisen within Queen Margaret Hospital for a Staff Nurse to join our established nursing team. You should show a commitment to delivering high quality, safe, evidence-based and effective care, and have an interest in working with older people. You should be able to demonstrate a commitment to ongoing professional and personal development and education. Successful candidates will be given the opportunity to undertake ILS, AIMS and all other extended skills training such as IV additives, Cannulation and Venepuncture when commencing post. The older people wards at Queen Margaret older adults’ wards look after patients with rehabilitation and complex discharge planning needs. As part of our Multi-disciplinary Team you will be responsible for the assessment of care needs, development of care plans and implementation and evaluation of these. This post is rotational and will involve shift work including nights and weekends to meet the needs of the service.
