The shift pattern for this post is 10/12 hour shift pattern over Mon – Sun, day/night duty.

2-3 years post registration nursing experience essential.  Oncology SACT experience desirable, and willing to undertake relevant courses to develop in role.

The successful application will support the Senior Charge Nurse in the smooth running of the ward to include management and education of the nursing team, ensuring that relevant guidelines and care assurance standards are met.  Ward B2 currently cares for patients with urology, gastrointestinal and neuro-endocrine cancers.

The ward operates 24/7 and the successful candidate will require to carry out page holding duties both during the week and at the weekend.  To meet service demands the successful post holder may require to cover other wards within specialist oncology services.   ​​​​​​​
