Working within Specialist Children’s Services in Greater Glasgow and Clyde. You will be committed to addressing the health and wellbeing needs of children, young people and their families. You will work in multi-disciplinary teams whose aim is to provide high quality support, assessment and interventions in line with evidence based practice and national policies/ agendas. You will have knowledge and experience of working in teams where care is coordinated and you will fully understand the impact of integrated care and services. You will be HCPC registered and have at least 2 years relevant experience in planning and providing person centred and outcome based care. You will be required to be person centred and innovative in your thinking and practice, with excellent ability to communicate effectively and compassionately with children, young people, their families and health and partner agencies.  We value and support career development with good opportunities for career progression. Our team aims to offer compassionate care centred in kindness with the aim of supporting young people and their families through their Occupational Therapy journey. We would welcome applicants who reflect those values.  We currently have part-time roles in Inverclyde in both CAMHS and Community Paediatrics however we can be flexible in combining posts to create a full time post for the right candidate.   Within Community Paediatrics you will work as an autonomous practitioner providing a comprehensive and specialised assessment, treatment and management of children and young people who have a highly complex clinical presentation which include developmental delay, sensory differences and disorders of movement.

Working within CAMHS will involve managing children and young people with a variety of conditions which are often complex and challenging. This is a small local authority with varying levels of deprivation which offers exciting opportunities to develop innovative practice in a multi-disciplinary way. We are looking for Band 6s who are motivated to apply who will be able to utilise their skills and competencies in these roles.
