We have an exciting opportunity available within our team and this will involve working with the Head of HR Employee Relations and Human Resources Managers in the provision of a proactive and comprehensive HR service to the managers and staff in the Health & Social Care Partnerships, Acute Division, Corporate and Property & Support Services departments. This will also involve providing expert advice on employment matters including terms & conditions, employment law and management of change. The post holder, with support from the HR Managers, develop training program and materials for Once for Scotland and NHS Lanarkshire HR Policy & Processes.
The postholder will design, develop and implement a suite of training materials covering all core Employee Relations Policies; Attendance, Grievance, Bullying, Conduct, Capability and Investigations. The postholder will be expected to develop a project plan and deliver from design, development to implementation with ongoing reviews of materials and update as required. Priority development of materials will be given to ER policies, but will not be limited to these.

- The postholder will engage service users to ensure resources are flexible to meet their needs and preferred learning styles.
- The postholder will be comfortable working as part of a team and on their own.
- The primary target audience is line managers, however information should be easily accessible for all staff.
Knowledge, training and/or experience required:
- The postholder will hold a degree in HRM or equivalent.
- The postholder will be a member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development
- The postholder will have demonstrable experience preferably within the NHS, including a wide knowledge in Human Resource Management and employment legislation, including a wide range of HR issues, policies, procedures, employment legislation and how to apply.
- The postholder will have experience of managing change.
- The postholder will require a high level of interpersonal, communication (verbal and written), influencing and PC skills, with the ability to prioritise and adapt to the ever changing needs of the service.
- The postholder will require to work on their own initiative due to nature of role, however have the ability to foster good working relationships with the team and the service.
- The postholder will require to manage their time and workload effectively to maintain standards and prioritise as required.
- The postholder must have demonstrable leadership skills to impart within the team and the wider service.
- The postholder must hold a current driving licence.
