Elective Orthopaedics, Woodend Hospital
Band 2, Ward receptionist – full time.
We are looking for a hardworking, enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our team in the Orthopaedic service. Previous experience in a care setting or in a patient facing role would be advantageous for the successful candidate.
The receptionist will have responsibility for booking patient transport, booking out-patient appointments etc so IT skills are essential and a knowledge of hospital systems would be advantageous. This post will initially be based in the Orthopaedic Short Stay ward & DoSA but the successful applicant would be expected to work within any area in the Orthopaedic service.
This post requires the successful candidate to have a calm manner and be able to deal with difficult situations which may arise. You would require excellent time management and be able to use own initiative to manage own workload demands.
The working hours would be worked over 5 days (Monday to Friday).
