An exciting secondment opportunity has arisen at Victoria Hospital in Kirkcaldy for a senior health care support worker who is keen to enhance and develop their knowledge and clinical skills in a pivotal band 3 position.
The candidate should have a commitment to patient centred care and supporting effective team working within an acute setting. The post holder will be responsible for coordinating and leading discharge planning, supporting the Integrated Discharge Coordinator to deliver change as part of the Scottish Government Discharge without Delay workstream. The post holder will be expected to work with teams to implement change required to drive forward with the PDD initiative and embed processes to improve flow and capacity within the system. The post holder must have experience within an acute clinical setting at band 3 level and be able demonstrate an excellent standard of clinical and professional knowledge and skills.
Hours available for this post are 37.5 hours per week predominantly worked over 5 weekdays.
