The successful candidate will work with the Procurement and Logistics team to ensure successful delivery and rollout of high quality and timely reporting.

The main duties and responsibilities of a Business Intelligence Analyst include:

  • Learning and fully understanding the data landscape in databases and applications
  • Using and developing data collection processes
  • Reviewing, extracting, validating and maintaining data
  • Gathering end user reporting and dashboard requirements
  • Developing dashboards and creating reports and supporting users with them
  • Responsible for the provision of complex statistical analysis and/or tabular or graphical data as requested
  • Participating in national data collection and reporting working groups, representing the interests of NHS Highland when required
  • Dealing with Freedom of Information requests whilst adhering the Freedom of Information Act 2000
  • Communicating insights to senior management and across the organisation

You will work collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholders, developing and maintaining effective and advantageous customer relationships.

The successful candidate will have Degree or 5 years’ experience in an organisation with complex analysis and data reporting, be experience in SQL Server database and system design and SQL Reporting Services, Integration and Analysis services.
