We seek an experienced  Care Programme Approach (CPA) administrator to support and administrate our CPA service within mental health services in Argyll and Bute HSCP.

Argyll and Bute Health and Social care partnership extends over 6,700 square kilometres with 23 inhabited islands and around 17% of the population lives on islands and with a coastline of more than 3,000km almost 80% of the population lives within one kilometre of the sea. There are 31 GP practices in Argyll and Bute with a registered patient population of 88,280 as at 1st of April 2018. Community services for mental health are based within our local areas of Oban, Dunoon, Bute, Helensburgh, Mid Argyll, Kintyre and Islay.

The Care Programme Approach (CPA) is developed in partnership and used to support care for people with mental ill health/learning disability who have complex health and social needs.  The use of CPA  provides a co-ordinated response from participating agencies.

To develop this exciting opportunity we seek a dynamic and innovative team player with enthusiasm to support the CPA Facilitator and development of this service at this time.

Applications are welcomed from candidates who are educated to:

National 5/Standard/O’grade  within English Language, Secretarial Studies / Office Administration or equivalent. Experience of working within an office environment and/ or previous knowledge of health care desirable. The ability to work under pressure and without direct supervision is essential. Demonstration of compassion, empathy and recognising the need for confidentiality due to the nature of the work involved is required.

Excellent communication , interpersonal and time management skills are essential.  Much of this role will be undertaken via virtual mediums and as such excellent information technology skills are required.
