We are seeking an individual to join our Community Rehabilitation Team based in Stracathro Hospital and covering North East Angus.  The post holder will work within the Orthopaedic in-patient wards assessing and rehabilitating patients following surgery.  You will also hold a caseload for the Enablement Response Team (ERT) and Enhanced Community Support (ECS) within the Community Rehabilitation team also based at Stracathro.  This post will involve mainly Occupational Therapy duties but may also include some Physiotherapy duties.  You will work closely with the Occupational Therapy and Physiotherapy teams and within the multi-disciplinary team.  You will have the ability to liaise effectively with the multi-disciplinary and multi-agency team within the locality and will be able to work independently.  It is desirable that you have worked previously as an AHP support worker at Band 3 and experience working with older people in a clinical setting would be advantageous.


Your performance must comply with the national “Mandatory Induction Standards for Healthcare Support Workers 2009” and with the Code of Conduct for Healthcare Support Workers.
