FULL-TIME PRACTICE RECEPTIONIST / ADMIN ASSISTANT
37hrs/week over 5 days Monday - Friday
(This is a full time post however, 2 part-time posts will be considered.)
We are a large practice with approx. 9,000 patients and are looking for a Practice Receptionist to join our busy and friendly team.
Responsibilities are to provide a comprehensive range of reception and clerical services as a member of the reception team. To ensure the efficient running of the office for the benefit of both the Patients and the Practice Team. Duties would include, but are not limited to;
• General Medical Reception Work
• Dealing with queries from both the patient population and the wider practice team
• Processing appointments and prescription requests
• Maintaining clinical data
The successful applicant should be comfortable in accepting responsibility and be able to work as part of a close-knit team whilst delivering a high standard of service to our patients.
Previous experience within a medical environment would be advantageous however not essential as training will be given.
They should also have a good level or communication and IT skills and the ability to prioritise their workload and be flexible to cover sick leave and holidays.
