The role…

An exciting opportunity has arisen with the NHS Tayside Digital Directorate, to join us as our new ‘Cyber Security Manager’. Cyber security is recognised as a key area within our current and future strategic Digital plans.


The successful candidate will be responsible for providing assurance on our technical cyber security solutions, developing processes for managing our cyber security posture and response, managing cyber security risks and for helping to ensure that cyber awareness is embedded into every aspect of what NHS Tayside do.

We want you to bring an innovative outlook to security technology, an organised approach to our processes and audit requirements, a friendly manner to our cyber awareness activity, a calm approach to our cyber response and of course bring your own skills and expertise to the table.

The post will be based primarily at Maryfield House in Dundee, though ability to travel to other sites may be necessary and flexible working arrangements are available.


You will be required to achieve the mandatory Induction standards for Healthcare Support Workers in Scotland and to comply with the Code of Conduct throughout your employment.
