We are inviting applicants for a Site Superintendent Radiographer based at QEUH. This is an opportunity for an experienced, hardworking individual with leadership experience to be a Site Superintendent in the South West Sector. The successful candidate will join a team compromising of five Site Superintendent Radiographers led by the Sector Superintendent with responsibility for delivery and management of Diagnostic Imaging services in QEUH, Gartnavel General Hospital, Victoria Ambulatory Care Hospital, West Glasgow Ambulatory Care Hospital, and Royal Hospital for Children and Institute for Neurological Sciences. QEUH is the acute site within the south West Sector and is a designated major trauma centre. There are in the region of 250 radiographers working to a hub and spoke radiographer rotation Queen Elizabeth University Hospital being the hub with GGH, VACH and INS being the spokes. There is a cross site rotation based on a ‘hub and spoke’ model enabling staff to develop a breadth and depth of knowledge and skills across scheduled and unscheduled care.  You will be responsible for operational management and leadership, working closely with the Sector Superintendent, Senior Management team, Lead Radiographers, Lead Clinician and senior administrative team for the successful delivery of Imaging Services and developments within this Sector ensuring ongoing legislative requirements compliance and maintenance of quality standards across all aspects of service delivery for best patient care.
