​​​​​​​Core Hours are - 8.30 am - 4.45 pm Monday - Thursday, and 8.30 am - 15.55 pm Friday; these can be flexible in order to meet the needs of the service.

We are seeking a highly motivated individual to work within the Social Work Department; this will be across two sites, ie, Glasgow Royal Infirmary and Queen Elizabeth University Hospital. 

The Department provides a comprehensive Social Work Service to all specialties within the hospitals – the Department consults, liaises and advocates for patients.  The aim of the Department is to provide help and guidance for patients and their families, to facilitate safe discharges from hospital to a setting which allows the patients to have the best quality of life.

Applicants should have an SVQIII in Secretarial Studies/Business Administration or equivalent experience, advanced keyboard skills, as well as good organization and communication skills.  A sound working knowledge of Microsoft Office package is essential.
