Arndale Community Mental Health Team is based in Drumchapel and serves the populations of Drumchapel, Knightswood, Bearsden and Milngavie. All are a short drive from the Resource Centre and are easily accessible. Arndale is a small building that has non agile working and over the course of the pandemic has adopted a blend of both home and base working. We do not share the building with any other disciplines.
Our staff consists of community psychiatric nurses, occupational therapists, consultant psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers and administrative staff. Our working environment is in keeping with good communication and a sense of team working. We are a friendly and cohesive team who support each other on a daily basis. There are many opportunities for training in a variety of different areas and we promote continual personal development.
We provide regular nursing supervision and psychological therapy supervision and discuss all nursing assessments at our Multidisciplinary Team Meeting each week.
