30 Hours per week. The shift pattern for this post is worked between 7am and 5pm on a rotational basis.

The Cook Freeze Production Unit at is looking to recruit a highly motivated individual to join the catering assistant and food production team.

Main duties will be:

  • Work throughout the Cook Freeze Production Unit including working for long periods of time inside freezer storage rooms at air temperatures below -18c.
  • Duties will include decanting heavy loads, portioning and packing large volumes of food in line with departmental procedures.
  • Duties will also include ensuring that the unit is cleaned to defined cleaning schedules and expected standards.

A certificate in elementary food hygiene is preferred but not essential for the role as is previous experience in working in a large scale food production/catering environment.
