An exciting opportunity has arisen for a suitably qualified and competent person for the role of Clinical Nurse Manager across the Nursing services within Orkney Health and Care.
Our Nursing teams consist of Advanced Nurse Practitioners, Community Nurses, Long Term Condition Specialist Nurses and Vaccination Teams who provide nursing support across the Orkney Mainland and ten of our remote outer islands.
The post holder will be required to lead and co-ordinate the nursing services within an environment of significant change and ongoing service improvement. Working under the direction of the Head of Primary Care Services you will provide operational support and oversee line management to the Clinical Nursing team.
A key objective will be to review and improve performance in service quality, safety and efficiency including workforce related staff governance measures as well as appropriate clinical governance and ensuring effective delivery of operational day to day nursing services.
Applications are sought from individuals who are a qualified Registered Nurse working at Post Graduate Masters Level equivalent. Candidates should have significant experience operating at a senior level with experience of working in a community setting. Excellent communication, leadership and influencing skills are essential for this role.
