An exciting opportunity has arisen in the NHS Highland Public Health Directorate for a Business Manager.  The post holder will be responsible for supporting the Director of Public Health and the wider department in ensuring efficient and effective management of all aspects of Public Health work and service delivery and therefore will play an integral role to ensuring the health of the population in Highland is protected and promoted.

Duties include  providing oversight and / or management of budget planning and monitoring, annual planning and performance management, risk management, local operational targets, GDPR, communications, support for  contracts/procurement, workforce planning and directorate developments.  They will also act as the senior administrative lead for the Public Health team at a Corporate level.  The postholder will support and be supported by the team in the delivery of key Directorate programmes of work led by senior staff in the Directorate.
