We currently have a band 8a clinical/counselling psychologist post available within Riverview Community Mental Health Team. This post can be filled by a clinical or counselling psychologist and suitable candidates who do not fulfil the essential criteria for band 8a can be considered for appointment at band 7 with opportunities for preceptorship. Part time and flexible working arrangements are available. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and innovative clinical/counselling psychologist to be part of a busy, cohesive psychology service within West Dunbartonshire. You will have responsibility for the delivery of specialist psychological assessment, including neuropsychological assessment, high intensity/ highly specialist individual and group therapies, and supervision of qualified staff, psychologists in training and multi-disciplinary staff delivering low intensity psychological interventions. The post will be split across a Community Mental Health Team and the Primary Care Mental Health Team, affording lots of potential to pursue clinical and service development opportunities. You will be supported to pursue your own professional interests through continued professional development and be part of a supportive, professional network of psychologists working across North West Glasgow and West Dunbartonshire. Candidates will have a Doctoral level (or equivalent) professional qualification in Clinical Psychology and should be eligible for registration with the HCPC.
