Band 8a – Programme Manager
The West Lothian HSCP has ambitious plans for transforming health and social care over the next three years as we embark on our new strategic plan. We are looking for someone with proven experience of managing programmes of change who is self-motivated, resilient and can work with a wide range of stakeholders to deliver results.
You must be comfortable working alongside senior stakeholders, leading multi-disciplinary teams through change and navigating a complex landscape of legislation, policy and operational challenges. Your experience of leading and managing staff will enable you to support and develop teams working across a range of projects. You will have excellent communication skills, be skilled in researching and scoping new approaches to health and social care and in developing plans which deliver transformation. You will have a sound understanding of programme governance and be able to produce high quality written reports.
You will be required to work flexibly, responding to changing priorities, but will initially be involved in developing and supporting mental health priorities including the mental health delivery plan. You will also have responsibility for implementing the HSCP’s workforce and wellbeing strategies.
Although some face to face work will be required, there is also an opportunity for hybrid working.
This post requires the post holder to have a PVG Scheme membership/ record. If the post holder is not a current PVG member for the required regulatory group (i.e. child and/or adult) then an application will need to be made to Disclosure Scotland and deemed satisfactory before they can begin in post.
