An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Information Governance Officer working within the Information Governance Team.
This post will support the Information Governance Team to deliver an essential service to the whole of NHS Grampian.
The initial focus of the role for approximately 12 to 18 months from appointment will be to support regional projects, such as the delivery of the new local and regional cancer system.
The post holder will also work with the Senior Information Governance Manager and Information Governance Team to help implement and monitor the Health Board’s information governance work programme. The post holder will play a key role in supporting the organisation’s obligation to respond to a variety of access to information requests made under the Freedom of Information Act and data protection legislation. They will also support the ongoing development and implementation of the Health Board’s information governance framework, ensuring compliance with all statutory requirements.
NHS Grampian seek a highly motivated candidate with excellent organisational skills, educated to degree level in Records Management or Information Management; or equivalent qualification/ experience who is an effective communicator adept at leading on organisation change.
