Community Paediatrics
St John’s Hospital Livingston West Lothian

Applications are welcome for the above Permanent, full time (40 hours per week) post based in St John’s Hospital Livingston West Lothian. Applicants wishing to work less than full time will also be considered.
The successful applicant will be based at St John’s Hospital, Livingston, and will join an established and experienced team of Community Paediatric doctors.
The standard week will include two outpatient clinics, supervision of a registrar (ST) clinic, and contribution to Child Protection and Child Planning meetings. The post-holder will not be required to contribute to an out-of-hours rota. The post will not include general medical paediatric clinics. The successful applicant will have a range of clinical experience and competence in general paediatric medicine, and it is essential to have four years post-qualification full time training or equivalent and two years of full time or equivalent paediatric training. Level 2 Child Protection training is essential. Experience in Community Child Health is desirable.
