The shift pattern for this post is negotiable, but within Monday to Friday 8.30am-4.30pm.

We are delighted to welcome applications from candidates seeking to develop their skills within the field of children & families teams (Health Visiting services).  We are committed to supporting and developing our staff, facilities and services to provide the highest standard of care. We currently have one permanent Health Care Support Worker post within the NE Sector the contracted hours are 26.5hrs. The successful post holder will support the Health Visiting team to provide an accessible, culturally sensitive, safe, person centered & effective service for children & families in the community.  The delegated supporting activities will be facilitated & supervised, by the Health visitor. The post provides an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in children and family’s lives and to work in a dynamic environment. We are committed to fully inducting our staff and to providing them with various training and shadowing opportunities within the multi-agency team.

Minimum requirements for this post are:
• SVQ Level 3 in Healthcare or equivalent experience
• Ability to work with people and as part of a team.
• Ability to work without direct supervision.
• Good communication skills both written and verbal.
• Experience of working with children.
• Ability to work with vulnerable children, young people and families.
• Basic computing skills.
