Job Title: Senior Clinical Trial Coordinator

37.5 hours per week

Grade/salary: AFC Band 6

This is a Fixed term post for 2 years

The post will be based in the Cancer Research UK Clinical Trials Unit, The Beatson West of Scotland Cancer Centre, Glasgow which is one of the major cancer clinical trials units in the UK (partner in Cancer Clinical Trials Unit Scotland NCRI Accredited Unit).    The candidate should have a least 5 years’ experience in clinical trials, The candidate
 will be responsible for the direct line management of a group of CTCs and also coordinate and implement a broad portfolio of phase I-III Clinical Trials in Oncology, working in accordance with Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and the EU Directive, providing efficient data management for studies run through the CRUK Clinical Trials Unit, Glasgow (as per the CTC job description). Please refer to the job specification form which outlines the essential and desirable criteria for the position. Applications are requested from candidates educated to degree level or equivalent, with a good knowledge of medical terminology, experience in a paramedical field, or extracting clinical data.  Clinical research experience and knowledge of current legislation in the area, the NHS environment, and oncology field is essential.
