Permanent post in Oncology, 37.5hrs p/w

We are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic and forward thinking therapist with a special interest in Oncology to join our team.

The successful candidate will be based within the Oncology team and will be vital in the development of a new service in the cancer assessment unit at the Western General Hospital.  This will involve a 6 month test of change, scoping the impact of intervention at the patient point of access to the hospital and consider the impact on the patient journey.  The postholder will work closely with a B6 Physiotherapist and will work collaboratively with the MDT in the Cancer Assessment Unit and a wide variety of community services within South East Scotland.

We invite applications from Occupational Therapists who have experience of delivering a wide range of physical, psychological, cognitive and social interventions to support individuals living with long-term conditions. Therapy Services support staff development through appraisal process, supervision and CPD opportunities.
